Specifies requirements for mastic adhesives intended for bonding the back surfaces of gypsum plasterboard or fibre reinforced gypsum plaster sheet to wood and metal framing members. Requirements such as consistency/sag resistance, transfer after open assembly time, wetting characteristics, bond strength in shear and in tension, bridging characteristics and flexibility after heat ageing, are laid down.
