1.1 These test methods cover the chemical analysis of zinc and zinc alloys having chemical compositions within the following limits:

Aluminum 0.005 to 4.5
Cadmium 0.001 to 0.5
Copper 0.001 to 1.3
Iron 0.001 to 0.1
Lead 0.001 to 1.6
Magnesium 0.001 to 0.1
Tin 0.001 to 0.1
